America, Targeted or Targeting?

Congressman Richard M. Nixon's [partial]Maiden Speech to the House of Representatives February 18 1947  before becoming (The Non-Crook President)

"Mr. Speaker, on February 6, when the Committee on Un-American Activities opened its session at 10 o'clock, it had by previous investigation, tied together the loose end of one chapter of a foreign-directed conspiracy whose aim and purpose was to undermine and destroy the government of the United States. The principal character of this conspiracy was Gerbert Eisler, alias Berger, alias Brown, alias Gerhart, alias Edwards, alias Liptzin, alias Eisman, a seasoned agent of the Communist International, who had been shuttling back and forth between Moscow and the United States from as early as 1933, to direct and master mind the political and espionage activities of the Communist Party in the United States.... "

About the My Lai massacre the BBC reports: "But the prospect of prosecutions crumbled . Army lawyers decided only 14 officers should be charged. Only one came to court, and he was acquitted"

"In the end, Charlie company's commanding officer, Lt Calley, was the only one to be convicted. He was sentenced to life imprisonment with hard labour. Within three days he was out of prison, pending appeal, on the personal instructions of President Richard Nixon."

"He spent the next three years under house arrest at Fort Benning in Georgia. Freed on bail in 1974 his sentence was then cut to 10 years. Later that year he was paroled after completing one third of his sentence."

- Today is a prosperous businessman in the more free society of the world (You can say that again) -

"Meanwhile, the survivors of My Lai were mourning the deaths of more than 500 innocent civilians."

"At some point nations that spits in the rights of others end up suffering the consequences of their disregard for justice"

-Is easy to foresee all this contemporary politicians like Reagan, Nixon and Bush just changing targets. The English, the Indians, the Spaniards, the Mexican, the Blacks, the Nazis, the Chinese, the Coreans, the Vietnamits, the Cubans, the Nicaraguans, the Lebanese and henceforth. If this speech were made now, the speaker, will just substitute  Communist with Muslim [Terrorists]. Who will stop the hate cycle or, at least, keep us out of been target by droping the fingers pointing to all the nations not in our sphere of influence? lz
