Codoleezza Rice

Even somebody that did not run for office, but you can be sure she will  give anyone a run for their money, Condoleezza Rice, has been all the time in the important pages of important world newspapers. For free, what it makes a good investment if she decides to grab a position in congress or the United Nation. She is not only smart but she has the personality, the charm and the charisma of  Whitney Houston, Isabela Rosellini and Catherine Deneuve all roll into one, and what to say about intelligent?. She is a winner without even having to compete. What a shame she do not hang with the right crowd. If she ever decide to concoct and mingle with the underdog, the ones with the real power, giving to us by the almighty Constitution,  I'll be sure to open dates in my busy schedule just for her.

Nancy Pelosi

It's hard to belief that the same state that choose Arnold Schwarzenegger (simplified as: Arnold LotsofLetters and in Spanish as: Arnaldo Muchasletras) like governor, probably because his strong man image, also vote for an apparent  sensitive and fragile women as Mss. Pelosi. I say apparent because been the House Minority Leader during the Republican control of Congress, can exhaust and pulverize even a titan, not only Pelosi survive, but also became the Speaker of the House. She is the first woman to hold the Speakership of the House, and for those of you that are not clear of the situation and think that a woman can occupy that position easy, let me clarify that is not the same to be a talker than the Speaker. Also his name  Nancy Patricia D'Alesandro Pelosi could intimidate some people from New York, New Jersey, Miami, Nevada or Chicago, that will never influence the people in California. Few Californians own horses and having suffered Santa Ana (not the wind, even though that's bad too, but the general), Nixon, Reagan and the earthquakes and fires, make the people from California so tough that Cossa Nostra is known in the Golden State despectively as: "Piccolo Cossa".

Ileana Ros-Lehtinen

From the deserts and mountains to the Golf of Mexico the trail of the Godfather pick up momentum and the retirement of many of the associates give luster and shine to the Orange State.        The names are now just history, o so they say, names that few dare to mention because their ghost and relatives still wandering the Biscayne Boulevard.   When the ghost is absent, the banana and red shag of some foreign deity still exercising a disturbing and faint fear over the minor White population. Jewish, Black and Mulatto and maybe some American Native fight their votes toward their ethnic male  representative, but a woman can get some from here some from there.   She knows how to convince, she knows how to sell. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, with a name that is not Jewish, or Black or Native, not even Cuban, is the epitome of the woman of today, she is a fighter, a  leader and a winner.

Hillary Rodham Clinton

Not everything has been wine and roses for this graduated of  Wellesley College. At a time when other First Ladies were enjoying the sweet life of parties, invitations and adulation, when they were dedicated to decorating the White House, or the libraries or the freeways of Texas.  When writing or travelling consumed most of  the time for the privileged wives of Presidential  elects, Mss. Clinton was suffering  the kind of marital problem that create confusion even in the private quarters of any family, nothing to say about the first family. This kind of affair  always end up in disillusion and separation and in not few less fortunate couples in tragedy.  But soft character is not the delineation  of the First Lady. She knows how to probe her fiber in difficult times, not only she kept  his head high, his moral intact and his goal firm. Not only she keep her marriage afloat but she rose the bar and became a Senator in her own right. She is not only the pride of the American women, she is the pride of Americans, period. If somebody need to represent a country like ours that person is Hillary R. Clinton, a real politician, a real person and a Super-Woman. She have my vote not matter what she runs for.
