When we talk about FOX News being anti-American, anti-people and liars (see frame FOX below) is not just because the news itself. This network is not below or above the others in relation to weather, sports, bla-bla, etc. The difference is in their politics and main agenda. Anybody, with the proper cash backup and friends, can own one network. News are not a bread winner enterprise. Networks use the news as a public service and what is call a "Corporate Image Builder". Their main interest is to gain the respect and admiration of the general public. People like Walter Conkrite, Andy Rooney, Edward Murrow, Barbara Walters, Sam Donaldson, and several others, made a pretty decent living out of their journalistic works. Their salaries was justified because they comply with the orientation, purposes and agendas of their respective patrons. My experience in that field was that journalism is not a money oriented career. For a person that help to put a news service from 0 to 7 millions a week in the international market in less that 2 months, competing with no more no less than Fox Movietone News, and Pathé News back in the 60s, we know that you can get anything but big money in that field. Then, I ask, Who in their right mind will invest in the news like a business? ... Besides the aforementioned economical program there is a limited but very lucrative gain in the information trade, for the one that pays, that's it: Politics. People like Benito Mussolini got advantage of his profession in the advance of Fascism. Joseph Goebbels did a very good job as Minister of Propaganda in the control of the media. Especially the system of using the Eher Verlag to produce and write the articles and news to be disseminated later. There is not shortage of more recent examples in the Internet and history books. Lets go to the case in question. The Australian-born Rupert Murdoch was a normal entrepreneur with newspapers, magazines and the like. Even though his suspicious and extraordinary investments in the world will not cause a warning sign at the right moment, the agenda of all his companies together with the false, exaggerated and sometime pernicious presentation of American society to the eyes of other people, people that before the Internet time, sometimes, have a better information than us in specific areas, make some statements in our news look ridiculous. That plus the cynicism, provocative, unfair and childish attitude of some of the FOX commentators and news presenters, that happens to be similar to journalists of different background and locations around the world, but with their checks coming from the same News Corp. arcade. Add to all that the fact that an Australian, in love with his country, powerful in that place and with good relations in the States. Add that he was "enchanted" and "devoted" with admiration toward that (his) media hyper wrongly labeled "Reagan Revolution", keep adding that Mr. Murdoch became, after helping elect some of his favorites conservative friends to the British parliament, an American citizen?... At 54?... Why then? Was he looking for the American Dream? No way Jose... Looking for Freedom? ... He can be anything he wanted in here... Buy anything he ... Just a minute that was the breaking straw that show the red flag that any investigative reporter can not, by journalistic ethics, ignore. That was his agenda. To repeat his actions about the British Parliament in The United States of America. The place that now wants to get rid of "illegal" workers. that get theirs livelihood by legal ways but ignoring the "legal" manipulators that are playing with borderline illegal monopolistic activities endangering our freedoms. lz What owns Mr. Rupert Murdoch?

Nobody ever count how many deaths have been caused by media moguls manipulation of the news to procure wars, the truth is that every new arrival of this kind of provocateurs increases exponentially the body counts. The long used phrases that we learned in school are been used to contaminate our forefathers intentions, we are kids no more, is time to stand like men and women to defend the constitution and our rights and others. It takes a valiant president, a less greedy Congress and a more patriotic nation to put everything in place before be too late. In principle I do not like judges, I think Republican Lindsey Graham described them (all judges) pretty good in the confirmation hearing of Sotomayor. (listen to the tape when he says She I hear Them) I did never agree with Graham (so far), but he is a pretty good image of a professional Congress person. He described the judges when reading excerpts of a critique of Judge Sotomayor. I will be fair in making clear that it was not the intentions of the Senator to resume what a judge is, (he was intending to get Sotomayor out of balance) but since I took his words out of context, like more Republicans do with Sotomayor, it can illustrate my point perfectly. Still I do not like judges, I think their intentions of judging characters is a job that belongs to the Lord, but we all, can judge other people actions if those actions affects society. So I'll say in honest true that despite my dislike for the profession related to biased and hypocritical laws with more relation to control than justice, I find Sonia Sotomayor with so much qualifications, disposition and experience to judge people that all the rest of the judiciary committee together. And you can take that to the bench. (I mean the bank)
