AP reports that Suspected Nazi guard John Demjanjuk from Cleveland, was deported to Germany. The 89 years old retired autoworker, naturalized American and alledged nazi murderer, was carried in a wheelchair. The Ukrainian-born Demjanjuk ex-guard at the prison of Sobibor in nazi occupied Poland is accused of accessory to murder. The trial spans thirty years in a crime committed more than 64 years pass.

"I'm wonder how old and sharp could be the witness that will testify at the trial." lz

Cuban Exile Luis Posada Carriles Seeking political Asylum in U.S.

An anti-Castro fighter with long ties to US intelligency agencies is seeking asylum in the United States. The FBI has evidence linking him to an airline bombing that killed 73 people. Luis Posada Carriles is claimed by the justice in Venezuela for his involvement in the death of the 15 members of the cuban fencing team in 1976.

"I guess the American authorities consider that 30 years is too long to keep a grudge."lz

Outrage builds in Anchorage after bear attacks. "Anchorage has a reputation for being bear tolerant but after three maulings last summer _ including a 15-year-old girl who nearly bled to death when attacked by a grizzly in a city park _ a chorus of outrage is building."

Is horrible, but compare that to the deaths by fire guns in United States - no counting American soldiers at war - see table for 2006 at the Brady Center for Gun Control. (30,896). They are more guns in the cities than Native Americans and bears. First thing first. lz
